Scottish Training for Alcohol Retailers and Servers
E-LEARNING (2-Hour Training)

Ideal for those who need to acquire the 2-hour mandatory training for alcohol regulations in Scotland.

Under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, there is a mandatory requirement for all staff with roles which include the responsibility for selling or serving alcohol to undergo a minimum of 2-hours training which covers a 16 point syllabus laid down by the Scottish Government.

Premise licence holders and premise managers have a legal obligation to ensure that their staff have received the necessary training and are to have records of completion.

Putting staff through our Highfield E-Learning course makes it possible not only to prove that training has taken place, formal assessments show that staff members have understood the training which will help protect your business in the event of any offences under the Licencing Act being committed.

The topics covered are:

    • Licensing Law
    • Types of Licences Needed to Sell Alcohol
    • Licensing Standards Officers
    • Operating Plans and Licensing Conditions
    • Protection of Children and Prevention of Under Age Sales
    • Social Responsibility

A short multiple-choice test concludes each module.
