E-LEARNING (2-Hour Training)

Ideal for those who need to acquire their 2-hour mandatory training for alcohol regulations in Scotland.

Please note, you will require a sign-in to be completed by a valid Personal Licence Holder (Manager or Supervisor) to access your STARS Course.
A Manager or Supervisor from your place of work will need to provide their licence holder name, licence number, and the name of the issuing licensing board relevant to them. 

Hawkhill Training Services do not have any capacity to bypass this provision as it is a requirement under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

Under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, there is a mandatory requirement for all staff with roles which include the responsibility for selling or serving alcohol to undergo a minimum of 2-hours training which covers a 16 point syllabus laid down by the Scottish Government.

Premise licence holders and premise managers have a legal obligation to ensure that their staff have received the necessary training and are to have records of completion.

Putting staff through our Highfield E-Learning course makes it possible not only to prove that training has taken place, formal assessments show that staff members have understood the training which will help protect your business in the event of any offences under the Licencing Act being committed.

GUIDED LEARNING HOURS

A short multiple-choice test concludes each module.

What is the cost?

£15.00 per learner

Candidates will be enrolled to undertake online e-learning through Highfield LMS. They will be provided an email with instructions how to access the e-learning course.

On successful completion, candidates will have instant access to the Highfield endorsed PDF certificate.

Where learners are unable to perform the Sign In requirement through a Manager/Supervisor who holds a valid personal licence, Hawkhill Training Services do not have any capacity to bypass this provision as it is a requirement under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.  You are therefore reminded to ensure that should you wish to book this course, the responsibility for this provision remains with the person booking the course. 

Where the sign-in requirement can not be met by a learner, those who notify us prior to accessing their e-learning course may be eligible for a refund on the assumption that we can reclaim and re-allocate an e-learning licence.  Instances where the e-learning has been accessed (logged in to) we would be unable to refund the cost of the training as the e-learning licences become non-transferable.
