Any other device or browser may work, however, we cannot guarantee this and we cannot offer any support for devices and browsers not mentioned above.
If you are using a phone, either iPhone or Android (Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi and so on) we cannot guarantee that you will be able to view the course on that device which doesn’t have a badge indicating so, however, you can log into your learner account on another mobile device, such as an Apple iPad, or an Android tablet.
Not sure what your device is? You can check here: https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/
Internet connection
For accessing the courses, and ensuring that your progress saves, we recommend an internet connection speed of at least 5mbps. This can be checked here: https://fast.com/.
If you are not able to meet 5mbps, your course may not load properly, be prone to crashing and progress may not be saved, and we will be unable to get this back for you.
How do i reset my password?
If you have an email linked to your learner account, you will be able to follow the steps below to reset your password. If you do not, please contact your manager/administrator, as they will need to reset your password for you.
To reset your password for your learner account, select ‘Forgotten learner password?’ when trying to log in as a learner on lms.highfieldelearning.com.

On the ‘Reset Learner Password’ page, you will need to enter the email address linked to your learner account and then select ‘Request new password’.
You should shortly receive an email with a link to reset your password within. If this doesn’t appear in your inbox within a few minutes, please check your spam/junk folder.

Select the link in your email and then select ‘Confirm and Reset’.
Your new password will be shown on screen and a copy will also have been sent out to your email address.
You will now be able to log back into your learner account.
How do i log in?
Once you have been set up as a learner, you should receive an email containing your login details. An example of this email is below.
Your username, password and a link to the system will be included. These are the 3 pieces of login information that you need.
Ensure you are logging in as a learner and enter the details. To make sure that you don’t accidentally copy across any spaces or extra characters, we recommend that you manually type out your details.
Once you have entered them, select the ‘login’ button.
When you have logged in you will see the dashboard. On the dashboard, you can see the company logo in the top left, the dedicated helpline and support email address in the top right.
Below is where your courses will be listed and categorised.
To access your courses, you can select the name of the course, select the module of the course that you would like to access, and then select ‘enter’.
The course will now load up.
From here you will be able to go through and complete your courses.
Keeps Freezing / Crashing
Supported device
Please ensure that your device is supported by checking here. This could be why the course isn’t running properly for you.
Internet speed
If your course is freezing or crashing, this is likely due to a drop in connection.
To test your internet connection, go to www.fast.com
Wait until the speed test finishes, and you should see your result like this:

Your speed will need to be above 5 Mbps to run the course without issues (Kbps is slower than Mbps).
If your internet speed is below 5 Mbps, you will not be able to run the course without issues and we cannot guarantee that you will be able to complete it.
If your internet speed is fine, this could be down to a drop in your connection, even the fastest of speeds can drop for a second or two. It might be worth refreshing the page and trying again.
Blocking content
If this still doesn’t work, it could be due to our site being blocked. This is especially common in schools, hospitals and offices with strict IT settings.
There is a simple solution to this which just requires you to ask your IT team to fully whitelist the site below as we require JavaScript files, Mp3 files and Mp4 files.
Once whitelisted, give the course another go and this should hopefully fix your issue.
If your course pages are still freezing, please contact us directly.
Unable to progress through course
If you are unable to move onto the next page of your course, this is likely due to incomplete page content.
Please ensure that all activities on the page are complete, and that the audio has finished playing.
If the course content stops part way through the page, more information can be found here.
Computer/laptop
If the page content has finished and all the audio has stopped, this could be down to a connection issue. It may be worth pressing the refresh arrow in the bottom right corner, but if the page does not complete again after doing this, please contact us directly.
iPad/tablet
If the page content has finished and all the audio has stopped, this could be down to a connection issue. It may be worth pressing the refresh arrow in the bottom right corner, if the page does not complete again after doing this, please contact us directly.
My assessment is locked?
If you are getting the message ‘Assessment locked’, you are likely seeing a page like this:

This means you must complete all the pages that aren’t complete.
In this case, the complete pages are the fully filled in purple stars. Other styles of courses could show the completed pages as a tick in a circle.
Once all the pages are complete, the assessment will unlock itself and you will be able to go back through it.
Don’t worry there is no limit to how many times you can go through the assessment. As long as your course hasn’t expired, you will be able to go through the assessment.
Completing an assessment more than once will not alter the original completion date.
Can I resit a course
Highfield are delighted to announce the launch of the refresher course function.
You may now be able to re-sit a course at any time while keeping the same learner profile (username, password email address and so on).
You will need to contact us directly to request this.
Please note: not all courses can be activated for resits.
How do I view my certificate?
To view your certificate, you will first need to complete the course and ensure that all modules are ticked.

Once completed, your certificate should appear at the top of the screen and you will be able to open it from here.
You will need to enter your learner account username on the ‘Certificate verification’ screen to view your certificate
You can choose to either download it or print it.
What do I do if my account/certificate has the wrong name?
If your account has the incorrect name, please contact us immediately. The sooner this is spotted the better, and the easier it will be to rectify.
We will be able to put a request into the Highfield E-Learning Support Team and ask them to update your name.
This is the name that will be displayed on the certificate, so it’s important that you spot it early, as there’s a chance that once you have the certificate it cannot be updated.
If you have a certificate and it is in the wrong name entirely, this cannot be updated. This will either be down to a fault when registering for the course, or a fault from the company you registered with.
Disclaimer
Learners must be set up with the correct name and only the named learner should access a course.
Learners should not complete a course in another learner’s name, including generic names such as ‘Learner One’.
If a learner completes a course in the wrong name Highfield reserve the right to void the course.
If requested, Highfield can make changes to names including typos, swapping the forename and surname, or changing a surname. Highfield may require evidence in order to make such changes.
