ACT – ACTION COUNTERS TERRORISM
The SIA developed both ACT Training Modules in partnership with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office and the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure.
ACT Awareness & ACT Security is free, specialised training for front line security operatives and those that work within public space events. The custom-built training provides up-to-date counter-terrorism knowledge to help operatives prepare for and respond to terrorist incidents whilst on duty.
THIS TRAINING MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ATTENDING ANY SIA LICENCE LINKED TRAINING
To complete the ACT Awareness & ACT Security E-Learning Courses, you will need to register a Student account on ProtectUK :
After you have successfully registered, you will be able to login and access training for both ACT Awareness & ACT Security.
Once you have completed both these modules, you will be awarded an opportunity to generate a e-certificate of completion.
Please forward these by email to your tutor for a record to be made in against your Learner Record.
Those wishing to complete any SIA Licence Linked Qualifications MUST obtain both ACT Security & ACT Awareness prior to a place on a course being secured.
